19th May 2017 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm

Running time: 2 hours

A panel discussion on the question 'What is the meaning of work and the role of creativity in the age of artificial intelligence?'

The discussion will explore what is meant by 'Power to Create', and the value that creative communities can add both in terms of the arts and a broader social purpose. Tony will also draw on the findings of the RSA's recently published Inclusive Growth Commission report and consider what that might mean in a local context.

Led by Tony Greenham, Director of Economics at the RSA, Drs Beverley Hawkins (Business School), Rebecca Hillman (Drama) and Sharon Marshall (Classics and Ancient History) of the University of Exeter will take part in a panel discussion as part of Art Week Exeter.

The event is supported by the Innovation, Impact and Business team, University of Exeter, and the south-west RSA Fellowship.
