11th March 2018 at 6 & 9

Running time: 135

Age: 15

Feeling as though their lives are going nowhere, Paul (Damon) and Audrey (Whig) Safranek decide to undergo the new and revolutionary procedure of ‘downsizing’ – a scientific breakthrough which shrinks people to five inches tall in an attempt to combat overpopulation. Forced to see things from a new perspective, Paul befriends Dušan (Waltz) who encourages him to see this as a chance to start again, and search for what he truly wants out of life. Despite Downsizing’s tiny nature, it looks at some of the big issues facing the world today, whilst not being short on jokes. Ha ha ha.

Tickets are bought on the night of the screening from our treasurer and willing assistant and are available from half an hour before the start of the film.

Tickets cost £2 for Campus Cinema and Staff Life Plus members or are £3.50 for non-members.
