This sculpture in cast aluminium portrays a process of the purification of material for use in electronics.

The waves above and around the sphere represent the electric currents, while the sphere itself represents the pure form.

Geoffrey Clarke is a Royal Academician and he has undertaken many major commissions, including the Nave windows for Coventry Cathedral.
