Theatre Shows in Exeter
The University has a theatre right at the heart of its Streatham campus. The Exeter Northcott Theatre is a 460 seat venue hosting a professional programme of events from family theatre to world-class opera. The University has many venues for theatrical performance, from practising spaces and performing halls in Kay House Duryard, to the open space of the Forum Street and Piazzas.
The University of Exeter has a strong Drama department, 1st in the National Student Survey (2012). Combining practise and research in an exciting combination, the department is also internationally renowned for world-leading research.
There are also a large number of theatrical student-led societies at the University of Exeter. From contemporary musicals to renditions of Greek tragedy, there is a great choice of theatre to be involved with, or to go and enjoy. Student concessions are available for most events - with some 'on the day' student standbys for as little as £8. Please check with the box office for further details.
