The Stannary is one of Cornwall’s premiere music venues.  The Upper Stannary also provides seating areas and a bar and has space for film screenings.

Getting there

By Bus: First Bus operates a number of frequent service bus routes linking the major towns in Cornwall. They operate the main service between Tremough, Falmouth and Woodlane. Services commence at around 05:30hrs and run through until around 23:00hrs Monday to Friday, from 07:00hrs to 22:00hrs on a Saturday and from 09:30hrs to 22:00hrs on a Sunday. Journey time varies between the services, but is typically 20-30 minutes between campuses. University College Falmouth and the University of Exeter have negotiated subsidised bus transport with First Bus using a zoning system.

By Train: First Great Western operates a link between the city of Truro, Penryn and Falmouth. This is a regular service usually travelling between the hours of 07:00hrs and 21:00hrs, Monday to Friday. The service is half-hourly and the journey between Falmouth and Truro takes about 20 minutes.

 

Accessibility

Designated parking spaces for registered disabled users are available in the car park adjoining the Stannary Building. There is ramp access to the Stannary and lifts are available to all floors.

 

Eating and drinking

The Stannary Restaurant (also known as the Lower Stannary) opens at 7.50am and closes at 2.30pm, Fairtrade tea, coffee and snacks are available throughout the day.

The Stannary Bar (also known as the Upper Stannary) is open from 10am until midnight and serves a variety of alcoholic and soft drinks as well as snacks.
