The Bill Douglas Cinema Museum comprises two museum galleries on the ground and basement floors of the Old Library Building. 

Entry is free.

 

Opening times

The museum is open to the public 7 days a week, 10am to 5pm, except Bank Holidays.  
The museum is closed between Christmas Eve and New Year's Day.

Items from the Museum's research collection can be viewed by appointment.

Accessibility

There is a blue badge parking space directly outside the Bill Douglas Cinema Museum.

The building is wheelchair accessible and there is a disabled toilet on the ground floor.

 

Eating and drinking

On the ground floor of the Old Library, there is a small seated cafe area with vending machines for snacks and hot drinks. Light meals can be purchased in nearby Devonshire House in the Student's Guild Kitchen Café and Kitchen Deli. There is also a Costa Coffee on the second floor of the Forum.
