About the programme

The FX Creative Together programme was established in 2022 and taps into the rich variety of specialism and perspectives, skills, lived experience and background of our Cornwall Campus student population.

It brings together students from Falmouth and Exeter universities to creatively collaborate as part of a 40-hour paid internship between May-June, developing creative outputs which can then be shared online or as part of in-person exhibitions.

These internships have creative experimentation and collaboration at their core. Students will discover how inter-disciplinary creative collaboration and experimentation can enrich their studies, imagination, employment skills, creative confidence and well-being.

Timelines and Eligibility

• Applications usually open in March with a deadline in April with a view to the internships starting late May and running through until the end of June. You can apply via Handshake.

• University of Exeter students must be based at one of the University's Cornwall campuses (Penryn or Truro).

• Students in their first year of study cannot apply – we look forward to your application next year. All undergraduate students from second year onwards can apply including those who graduate this summer.

• Students from each institution must apply separately and if successful, they are then paired by the Arts and Culture team.

• If you already have a collaborator in mind you can let us know this in your application, but you both need to fill out your own application form through Handshake and you will be scored separately. Please say if you’re open to working with others if the other applicant is not selected.
