Define the Purpose of your Project
1. You want to work with a creative practitioner
But are not sure where to start.
2. There are countless possibilities
You only need to choose ONE. There is no single correct answer, it is a generative process.
3. What interesting question are you working on?
Unresolved and complex challenges are the perfect starting point to hook the imagination. Your question or challenge is an invitation to the creative practitioner. Use this guide to build a project brief that will explore your question.
What is your interesting question or challenge?
Think about each of the key stages in your project, from the initial idea to the intended impact and legacy.
What ACTIVITIES and RESOURCES will you need to plan for?
At this point, you should have decided on your interesting question, and started thinking about how this could be explored creatively in different parts of your project. Hold these initial ideas lightly – they will help guide you, but stay open to change.
From here, we encourage you to work through the PEOPLE and PRACTITIONERS sections of this toolkit.
