Technical help with exhibitions at the University

In this section you’ll find some information about who to contact for technical help when you’re setting up and taking down exhibitions at the University.

Exeter Campuses

Booking Campus Services: Staff can book Campus Services – go to the Campus Services web page, log in and click on ‘Routine Maintenance request’.

Campus Services charge for all services, so have your budget code ready as you will need to enter this onto the online form.

There is a text box section on the online form. Be sure to include the exact date and time you want to set up the exhibition in this text box, and also specify if you need Campus services to bring along anything on the day, such as spirit level, mirror plates etc. Don’t forget to make another booking for the take-down date, if you will need help then.

Porters

  • Transporting exhibition elements within the campus (free – but book at least 5 working days in advance)
  • Porters can also transport other items beyond the campus, for a fee. Booking the porters: Staff can book the porters – go to the Campus Services web page. Click on ‘Book a porter’, log in and complete the online form.

Use the text box on the form to specify the exact time on your chosen date that you want the porters to collect and deliver anything – so that exhibition elements arrive to coincide with Campus Services set-up of the exhibition.

Don’t forget to make another booking for the take-down date, if you will need anything transported then.
